Technology Plan assess current IT needs VS future to develop a strategic plan for using technology to solve real business problem, cut cost, and generate revenue. Then it assists in developing a three to five year time-phased Technology Plan that enables you to execute your Business Plan with appropriate technology at the lowest possible cost.

Technology Plan must include consolidation, coordination, and standardization of information technology. Technology Plan must also leverage current technology investment where possible provided that legacy technology is viable and does not adversely impact business throughput.

The following application standards must be established:

1. Office Productivity (MS Office, OpenOffice.org)
2. E-mail System and Software
3. Browser (Internet Explorer, Mozilla, Foxfire)
4. Personal Information Manager
5. Mainframe or outside system access
6. Drawing/Diagramming/Cad/3dCadd
7. Scanning and OCR
8. Reader Adobe Acrobat

9. Small Procurement (Pcard)

11. AntiVirus and Adware
12. Database
13. Accounting / ERP / CRM
14. Backup Software and Media
15. Networking Monitor software
