CIM Manufacturing Demo
In 1992 I wrote the software and integrated hardware for the highly successful ProNET system for Williams Technologies (now Caterpillar) (could not have done this without Jeff Anderson, Doc Hall, and the ProNET Team). The system was re-written in asp for Windows Server in 1998. The same year I developed a completely new system dubbed CIM Manufacturing which uses Linux and the LAMP stack. The following is a demo of the CIM system as it was in 1998. We did this because we found a tremendous amount of interest in "CIM Type" manufacturing. Also, Caterpillar is still using the ProNET system, and is in the process of rolling it out to all of their manufacturing facilities. Log In and give it a try.
